Welch's

The largest Kuiper Belt Objects are Pluto, Quaoar, Makemake, Haumea, Ixion, and Varuna. There was a theory that if you combined all the asteroids they would make up the missing “Fifth” rocky planet. The sun is easily the largest object in our solar system.
Their largest manufacturing plant is located 17 miles away in North East, Pennsylvania. In 1956, the company was sold to the National Grape Cooperative Association, which comprises 1,300 grape growers located in Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington and Ontario, Canada. Other popular products that use the Welch's name are the fruit snacks made by The Promotion In Motion Companies, Inc. Welch's grape and strawberry soda flavors are currently licensed to Global Beverage Corporation.

With a diameter of 7,520 miles (12,100 km), Venus is slightly smaller than Earth and possesses a core composed of molten iron, similar to our own planet.

Welch's has also licensed its name for a line of grape-flavored soft drinks since 1974. It has been owned by the National Grape Cooperative Association, a co-op of grape growers, since 1956. It is now considered as a "dwarf" planet, but is still labeled as an asteroid, because in reality, like Pluto, they have no idea how to truly classify this mysterious object. Ceres — upon its first discovery in January of 1801, was believed to be a comet then it was determined to be the missing planet between Mars and Jupiter. Its surface is covered in ice but as it comes closer to the sun and the ice melts, it's surface is closely similar to Pluto's.

With a mean temperature of 867℉ (464℃), Venus has the hottest surface of any of the planets and it’s all thanks to the greenhouse effect. Welch’s set a world record for grape stomping at the Lucille Ball Festival, as 1,232 people stomped 60 tons of grapes.

Though it is further away from the sun then Mercury, Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system and is able to be seen by the naked eye from Earth.
Uranus, the seventh planet from the sun, is the first planet identified through telescope observation, a feat accomplished by British astronomer William Herschel in 1781.

With a diameter of about 3,032 miles (4,879 kilometers), it is just slightly larger than Earth’s moon and lacks any moons.

In contrast to other planets within the solar system, Uranus orbits uniquely. According to NASA, high pressure and heat deep in Earth’s atmosphere compressed hydrogen gas into liquid, forming the largest ocean in the solar system. Jupiter’s extensive collection of moons orbits alongside its pale blue rings, which are primarily made of dust. Unlike the inner planets, Jupiter is a gas giant composed mainly of helium and hydrogen.

Jupiter — the largest planet in our system, the mysteries of Jupiter has fascinated astronomers and non-astronomers alike for centuries. A thick cloud shrouds the planet, making it difficult to see its surface which attributes to its brilliance. Venus — this toxic planet, primarily consisting of carbon dioxide, is next in line from the sun and contains a pressure index that would crush anyone who landed on its surface. Because of its close proximity to the celestial giant, the surface of the planet reaches temperatures as high as 840°F during the day and hundreds of degrees below the freezing point at night.

Our Washington vineyards are home to 189 growers who grow Welch’s Concord and Niagara grapes harvested on over 10,000 acres, including 1,025 certified organic acres.
